What we collect,
and what we do not.
Analytics and advertising cookies stay off unless you turn them on. Beyond that, the only personal information this site collects is what you type into the enquiry form.

The short version
Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you turn them on. Nothing that measures or tracks you runs on this site unless you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, or ignore it, none of it loads at all. You can change your mind from the cookie settings link in the footer at any time.
Beyond that, the only personal information this site collects is what you choose to type into the enquiry form.
What the form collects
The form at the bottom of the home page asks for three things:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- What you want to work on, which is a free text box
We use these to reply to you about visiting the studio. Nothing more. We do not add you to a mailing list from this form, and we do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
The third box is open text, so please share only what you are comfortable putting in an email. It reaches an ordinary email inbox, not a medical record system.
Cookies and measurement
If you accept, we switch on:
- Google Analytics, which tells us how many people visit, which pages they read, and which buttons they press. It sets cookies. Your IP address reaches Google's servers the way it does with any website request, but Google Analytics does not record or store it.
- The Meta Pixel, during periods when we are advertising on Facebook and Instagram. It lets us see whether those ads are working, and show ads to people who have visited. It sets cookies and reports your visit to Meta. When we are not running it, nothing loads from Meta at all, whatever you have chosen here.
The Meta Pixel does not run on our "who it's for" pages. Those pages cover injury and rehabilitation, active aging and similar, and we do not think which of them you read is Meta's business. Google Analytics does run there. It reports the page address and which buttons you press, never anything you type.
If you decline, neither loads and neither sets anything. The only thing stored on your device in that case is a small note of your choice, so we do not ask again on every page.
Under California law, using an advertising pixel counts as sharing personal information for targeted advertising. Declining the banner, or switching your choice back from the footer link, is how you opt out. You can also email us and we will confirm it in writing.
Who else handles it
Two further services are involved in running this site, whatever you choose above.
Web3Forms delivers the enquiry form. When you press send, the three fields above pass through their service and arrive as an email to us. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy.
Google Fonts serves three of the typefaces used here. Because your browser requests those files from Google, Google can see your IP address when you load a page. This happens on every visit, whether or not you use the form.
The address in the footer links out to Google Maps. That is an ordinary link: nothing is sent to Google unless you click it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries live in our email inbox. We keep them while we are talking to you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@freedomlkn.com or call (828) 478-1070 and we will sort it out.
Booking, memberships and payments
Today, this policy covers this website only. Booking a session, holding a membership, or paying us happens on a separate booking platform with its own terms and its own privacy policy. Ask us and we will point you to it.
We are moving purchasing onto this website. When we do, buying a session, a membership or a product here will mean we collect what is needed to fulfil the order:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your billing and shipping address
- Details of what you bought, for example a shirt size
If you create a customer account, we will hold the same details, so that checking out is quicker and so we can help you properly when you get in touch.
We will email you about your order or your account. For example, to tell you that you have created an account, that your password has been reset or changed, that you have made a purchase, or that an order has shipped. These are service messages about something you asked us to do, so there is no way to unsubscribe from them. They are not marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list off the back of a purchase.
None of this is running yet. Until it is, the only thing this website collects is what you type into the enquiry form, described above. We will update this section, and the date at the top, before the first payment is taken here.
Children
This website is not aimed at children and the form is not intended for use by them. If a minor is going to use the studio, speak to us directly.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page to switch analytics and advertising on or off. The change takes effect immediately.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
